This Privacy Policy describes how Job Scorer (“Service”), operated by Hecatoncheires (“we”, “us”), handles information when you use our website and related features.

  • Account data: When you sign in with Clerk, we receive identifiers and profile details you provide (such as name and email) as configured in your authentication provider.
  • Content you submit: Job URLs, pasted job text, resume or profile text, search queries, and similar inputs you choose to send to the Service.
  • Usage and technical data: Standard logs and diagnostics (for example IP address, user agent, timestamps) needed to operate and secure the Service.

How we use information

We use this information to provide and improve the Service, authenticate users, process purchases where applicable, prevent abuse, and communicate with you about your account (for example transactional or onboarding emails).

Third-party AI providers

To deliver scoring and profile features, your inputs may be processed by third-party AI providers (such as Groq, OpenRouter, or other inference backends we configure). Those providers process prompts and related context on our behalf to generate results. Do not submit secrets or highly sensitive personal data you are not comfortable having analyzed by such providers.

Payments

If you purchase credits or subscriptions, payment information is handled by our payment processor (for example Stripe). We do not store full card numbers on our servers.

Data retention

We retain information as needed to provide the Service, comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods vary by data type and configuration.

Sale of data

We do not sell your personal information.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
